Community outreach

Shiva Street Walk

Tree Of Perception's main community outreach event

A grounded day of meditation, cleanup, local connection, art, food, music, and practical service. We gather with intention, walk with care, and leave the neighborhood better than we found it.

What it is

Mindful outreach in motion

The Shiva Street Walk begins at a local park with conscious group meditation, meet-and-greet activities, and a welcoming introduction to the mission of Tree Of Perception. From there, teams review a local area map, receive routes, and walk through designated neighborhoods to pick up trash, connect with people, and invite new community members into the work.

After the walk, everyone gathers nearby for food cart vendors, contributor and artist tents, and a live music stage. The closing circle shares what was cleaned up, what was learned, and what Tree Of Perception is building next.

Purpose

Why we walk

The Shiva Street Walk is built around thoughtful action. It is simple enough for anyone to join and meaningful enough to help shape the culture around it.

Community connection

We create a low-pressure place for neighbors, members, artists, sponsors, and contributors to meet face to face.

Environmental cleanup

We remove trash from shared spaces and track the visible impact made by each route team.

Mindful action

We begin with presence, then carry that awareness into direct service and honest human connection.

Local art, music, and support

We make space for food vendors, artist tents, contributor tables, and a music stage at the gathering point.

Growing Tree Of Perception

We invite people into future projects, learning circles, member opportunities, and community events.
